Grant from the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico!

The Doña Ana County Humane Society is happy to announce that we have been awarded a $2,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, with $500 going directly into our endowment fund. With the Community Foundation's support, our organization will have the funds to help even more low-income pet owners with emergency, quality-of-life and preventive veterinary assistance through our Animal Relief Fund. Pictured are, from left, DACHS Executive Director Kathy Lawitz, CFSNM Executive Director Terra Van Dyke Winter, Community of Hope Executive Director Nicole Martinez (Community of Hope also received a $2,000 grant), and CFSNM Development Director April Anaya.
