Welcome our new board members!

Please help us welcome two new Doña Ana County Humane Society board members, Bernadette & Caroline!

Bernadette Tirre

Bernadette, who is from Las Cruces, has been with Citizens Bank of Las Cruces for 23 years and currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and manages the Country Club Branch location. She is an Amigo for the Las Cruces Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and also serves as the Treasurer for the Los Amigos Executive Team. Most recently, Bernadette served a three year term on the La Casa board of directors. When she isn't busy working and volunteering, she loves spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her two sweet dogs, Hendrix and Maiden. Welcome, Bernadette!

Caroline Zamora

Caroline is a third-generation Las Crucen who graduated from Mayfield High School and New Mexico State University. She has worked for Aprendamos Intervention Team for eight years as a senior manager and the Director of Community Relations and Development. Caroline is also a real estate associate broker with Century 21 Haggerty. Caroline is very involved in the community through The Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce and the Las Cruces Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as a chamber ambassador. In her spare time, she practices yoga, enjoys board games, and loves spending time with her dog, Frank Sinatra-Zamora. Thank you for your service, Caroline!
