Animal Relief Fund
The ARF fund provides financial aid to help qualifying Dona Ana County pet owners with veterinary care, helping to prevent animal suffering and allowing pet owners to keep their animals rather than surrendering them to the animal shelter because they can't afford veterinary care. Aid is available to low-income individuals whose cases meet ARF guidelines and who can pay a $50 co-pay. Download the qualification form below, and contact DACHS at
(575) 647-4808 or e-mail dachsoffice@gmail.com to make an appointment.
We are not an emergency clinic; we issue vouchers that can be taken to a veterinary office to help cover the cost of treatment. We operate by appointment only, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Please call (575) 647-4808 to make an appointment. If your pet is experiencing an emergency and we are not available, ask your veterinary office if they accept Care Credit, a credit line for veterinary needs.
